Our handmade table and the kids!

Our little American Girl!

Last weekend we went to T-ville, where Breaks and my dad built an entryway table to replace the old kitchen table we were using as a console table. We got to distress the wood with chains, chisels, and nails. It was lots of fun.

More distressed wood, man was it fun to distress the wood!

The finished product, we love it! Thanks Dad and Jonathan.

Our Garden and Yard

Labor Day Weekend

Jonathan had the girls Saturday & Sunday for the first time all day by himself. He did great!! Maggie definitely bonded with him over the weekend I can tell by the way she looks at him now. Sophie always loves hanging out with her dad, but I must say when I got home she was very happy to see me and she told me how much she missed me. It made me feel very special, who knows maybe Jonathan prompted her to tell me that when I walked through the door!! I had some great first days at work, it is so interesting, busy, fun, and overwhelming because I have a lot to learn in a short amount of time. I am very happy to have made the change. I was supposed to work on Labor Day, but was unable to because they don't like to pay nurses in training time and 1/2. So instead I got to spend the day with my family. I slept in and Jonathan cleaned the house like a mad man! Then we did a lot of cooking together which was nice we haven't done that in a while. Then a friend from my childhood came by for a visit. We finished the night with a nice homemade Greek dinner outside in our lovely backyard.
