Happy New Year!!!!

 2011 brought us one beautiful addition to the family.  What a great year.  Only the best in store !!!

 Enjoying early fall conditions in the winter......and we're still doing so...c'mon snow, some people would probably like to ski right about now and bring some revenue dollars to the greater Reno/Tahoe area. 

 Maggie loves watching Sophie, it's going to be great when they can play together.  2012 will bring some fun times.

Tonight while reading Sophie a book titled "One snowy day", I explained to her "One of these days it's going to snow here and You, me, sissy, and mommy are going to go out in the snow and play in it."  She quickly replied "...and Pop Pop".  She went on to share vivid recollections of building a snow man with Pop Pop in the front yard.  It was great timing on your visit that time Dad.  She will always think of you when building a snow men and splashing in the "puddles".  I wanted to say "Happy Anniversary".  75 years of marriage is an amazing thing.  I only say that because it's true.....and I can't remember how many years it is for you guys, but none the less, I hope you had a nice time on your get-a-way and we love you.  Happy Anniversary and Happy New Year.

 Did I mention how pretty this little girl is. I have to say Emily does all the hard work for this blog.....that's taking the pictures.  I just get on here from time to time and comment on them........And I have to say as I browse my selections....My wife takes some great pictures.  Nice job Treatsy !!!

 Making sugar cookies.  Sophie is probably sitting here contemplating, "How can one mom be so cool? and how do they get the soy out of the sugar cookies.....Soy free sugar cookies, what an AWESOME concept.

 Lossman, when you were painting the masterpiece on the left, did you ever think that it would tie in so nicely with a decor.  Compare composition, color scheme, and symmetry with the other painting in the room........brilliant work.....it's time to quite the lawyer thing and answer your true calling.   Who'd of thunk that JJ was the aspiring artist of the family.

 Sophie is slightly obsessed with putting on chapstick.  She probably gets it from me.  When she begs for it and I try and pass off the stick in my pocket, she says right away....."wheres MY chapstick?"......My chapstick isn't cherry flavor.

not really.  I did just want to say thanks to Kim and Marty for hosting the crew.  The food was amazing and the hostpitality was second to none.  Thank you so much for having us all. 
I overheard the cousins discussing Newton's Laws of Motion........I hope they're talking about sliding down the stairs........Cheers !!!!!!

 Good times and let's go round the table and say thanks.  Marty and Kim....what may seem small to you, but letting Emily and I go to sleep means a lot to us....thank you.......Cecile...thanks for the books and toys.....Sophie is smart litte fire cracker from reading books......Biz and Becky.....you're children are wonderful.....Sophie had an amazing time running around with them.....you guys are alright too.....Cousins.....thank you for the great video footage.......New stair sliding race to begin in 5.....4...3..2..1......Treatsy.....thanks for always being there for us.......and Maggie Rose...........thanks for the compelling argument that you're the cutest baby in the world.

 I was going to paste in an apple logo, but figured that they would probably make me take it off for copyright infringement.

A little white dog from the city enjoys some time in the country......A real wood burning stove.......it doesn't get any better then this......oh wait !!! the other dogs are barking and running for something so I'm just gonna go ahead and follow them and bark and run after..............nothing.  Mr B, my offer is standing....I'll pay the vet bills.....Just kidding we coudln't live without them.......well unless you think they could thrive in the country..................call me.

Happy Halloween!

I had to work last night but one of the day shift nurses stayed late so I could go into work late and be able to trick or treat with the girls. Sophie has so much fun, she wasn't scared of any of the decorations or noises. She has never had candy because of her allergy so she would just say let go get more candy and she never asked for us to open any of them to eat. I guess when you don't know any different that's what you do! The people would offer for her to take multiple pieces and she would say no thanks and just grab one. Which is a good thing because that is less candy for Breaks and I to have to eat!

Super Girl! She was only awake for about 2 minutes of trick-or-treating then fast asleep for all the action.

We are having the most beautiful and warm fall. I couldn't be more happy, hopefully it sticks around for a while!

Watch out Sophie, Maggie is growing fast and before you know it she will be able to keep up with you!
