Sophie at 9 Months Video

Sophies Visits Grandma, Grandpa, and Jer

Sophie flew for the first time. We went to visit Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Jer in Kansas City. Sophie did great on the airplane and we had a wonderful time visiting. We went to some great resteraunts, took a day trip to visit Great Grandma Cook in Fort Scott, and saw where Grandma grew up. Sophie was an angel the whole time and loved spending time with her Cliffe relatives. We wish we could do it more often. Grammy and Grampy baby sat Sophie so Emily and I could go out to a really nice dinner. We love this little one with all our hearts, but it was nice to spend some alone time for a change. Grandma Burfeind let us borrow her fancy camera for the trip, so there are too many good pics to even post, but here are some. Sophie got to see her "Sophie" tree planted last year for her. Sophie got all dressed up for church, and Daddy even busted out the Cliffe family neck brace. A big thanks to Grammy and Grampy for all they did to make our trip so great. Sophie even got to ride the mop, which she really enjoyed. Enjoy.

Our Little Green Thumb

Sophie has been helping us outside get our garden ready for planting. She sits on the grass and plays with the leaves, or tools, or left over drip line pipe. Pretty much whatever she can get a hold of. Sometimes she sits in her swing in the tree that are wonderful neighbors Jim and Harriette are letting us borrow until Sophie out grows it just in time for their youngest grand baby Grace to sit in it! Sophie also likes to pull herself up on everything including the dishwasher and then she licks it! So much for clean stainless steel appliances :)
