Happy Halloween

Baby Sophie is home with Daddy today (he gets something called Nevada Day off every year). We decided to do a photo shoot. Here is Sophie's Halloween picture.

Sophie's first road trip.

We took a trip last weekend to visit Great Grandma Cecile in Walnut Creek and then on to San Francisco to see Aunt Jeanine, Uncle Josh, and Cousin Chloe'. It was a great trip the weather was beautiful, and we were in good company. Sophie was a bit challenging as she was out of her element, but we all survived. Dada says it was the hardest on mommy. Thanks to Grandma Cecile mommy and dada have a brand new Bob jogging stroller, now there is no excuse to not get back in shape!

This weekend we went to Taylorsville to hang out with some family and introduce
Sophie to Grandma Nan. We had a really good time and ate some wonderful chili. Sophie loves to hang out with her cousins Ruby and Hayden.

First Family Pictures

Today we went to Caughlin Ranch in Reno and did an old fashion photo shoot. Caughlin Ranch is a very familiar place to us. We go for walks there several times throughout the week. We met our good friends; Darren and Lindy and their new baby Lincoln who is a couple weeks old already! We had a great time once Darren got the group under control. The Cliffe's were a little stressed out because Mrs. Cliffe insisted on bringing the pups who were not on their best behavior as usual. The sprinklers came on as Emily and baby Sophie were sitting on the ground about to start the photo shoot, yikes!!

Sophie at 2 1/2 months

Sophie is growing so fast, here is some video footage taken over the last month. She is smiling constantly, cooing, and she even did belly laughs once for her uncle Matt. She is interacting with toys, her favorite is the bird which talks to her under the play mat. She went to her two month check up a few weeks ago, and weighed 11 lbs and is 22 inches long. So that put her in the 25-50th percentile. Mommy has gone back to work, her first day back was on Monday, everyone survived. Mary our nanny brought miss Sophie to mommy's work so she could feed Sophie on her lunch break.
